Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday June 25th, 2024 from 1330-1430

It was a pleasant Winter afternoon, but a comparatively quiet one. Yet, both Johnny and Hung still got divine appointments through the led of the Holy Spirit. We were graceful to serve with God this way that we are both the first hand beneficiary out of this Gospel preaching ministry. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -

1) Fouzia an UQ student from Ethiopia and visibly a Muslim in Islamic costume. But she appeared very receptive to gospel and accept the logical need of all good persons for Jesus as our Savior to take our place for the punishment of our sin. She wanted to take a selfie with me but the bus would not wait. Thanks to Johnny having taken a photo of us from the back.

2) Next approached a Mainlander young man who also was willing to chat but the bus came too quick.

3) Natalie a Filipino with family of Catholic background but she herself is not yet a believer. but still a pursuer. She also thanked for my gospel sharing.

4) Then I was led to chat with an Uganda high school student. He claimed he is from a Christian family. So I test his assurance of salvation which fall short of 100% but stays at 80% Managed to clarify with him and he showed appreciation by taking a selfie with me.

5) Then I was led to catch up with an ABC of Chinese parents. She alerted me to recall we had a chat before so I took the chance to have a revision on the gospel message with her and she sounded receptive to the message.

6) Last but not the least. I was led to approach a very modern girl by the name Li ?from Jinan, Shandong China ( ) Her hair is dyed golden orange. It did reflect her mindset is also quite open thus she did not shows resentment to hear the gospel and actually appeared very receptive to the logical deduction that as long as all human are imperfect, we all have the need for a Savior to take our place to receive the punishment of eternal death originally due on us. She accept our tract but asked for an English one.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday June 18th, 2024 from 1330-1430

It was yet another cheerful and glorious day of gospel outreach under the warm Winter sun. There mixed reaction but overall speaking, we could feel the hands of God behind each and every divine appointment whether a smooth or difficult conversation, God was always in control. Both Johnny and Hung had some long and quality conversations with either first timer or people with multiple chats. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung.

1) I was led to approach first a Japanese girl who comes to learn English at the Language School of UQ. Mt Japanese greeting aroused her interest and allow me to share the full gospel to her till the bus came.

2) Linghan an English speaking Malaysian, though claimed to be an Atheist, but appeared very open and receptive to the gospel sharing as he could not find any illogicality in the need of a Salvation as it is universally agreed that no human is perfect as such we all need a Savior to redeem us from the bondage and judgement of sin. I at one moment even thought he is readily a Christian but on parting he told me he actually is an Atheist. So I can only claim this is the miraculous work of the Spirit to soften his heart turning him around to admit he also needs Jesus. He showed his appreciation by taking a selfie joyfully with me.

3) Then I had a brief chat with a young man from Nanjing who comes to study engineer at UQ. He showed impartially to gospel sharing and took a tract at the end.

4) Then I caught up with a Head student from SMT called Queensland Academy for Science Mathematics and Technology, a selective State School for elite student founded in 2007. She has around 15-20 badges of honor pinned on her overcoat life those veteran did on Anzac day parade. It was a perfect illustration of how a good or even excellent person she is but still she needs salvation like every body else as long as she admitted she is still imperfect.

5) Then I was led to catch up with a Belarus girl Valerian who is non religious but still friendly to listen to the gospel and took a tract at the end.

6) Another long chat with Anna an ABC of half Aussie (Mom) and half Chinese (Dad). She finally disclosed she once a church going Christian but no more. I encourage her to reconnect with God as we must remain in Him to be able to keep growing towards perfection through the life transformation work of the Holy Spirit, on top of the foundation of Jesus' redemptive grace granting us readily the long lost heavenly citizenship and life of eternity. She was graceful for my sharing and joyfully took a selfie with me.

7) Lastly, I caught up with a girl form Shanghai. It was a pity there was not enough time for full Gospel and she also took no tract at the end.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday June 4th, 2024 from 1330-1430

Praised be to God, Ben as introduced and led by Gladys both from Toowong Baptist, joined Hung and Johnny today for the first time after an unsuccessful connection two weeks ago when Hung was away on a mission trip to North Qld and Johnny was not available as occupied by a Medical appointment. We wasted no time to do our opening prayer and than chatted along the walk to the bus station. I briefed about the Biblical basis for street multi=cultural outreach, and the way we do it. To my personal joy, all people I met to day were opened , friendly and receptive. Recap below was my Battle Log.

1) First I was led to approach a Hong Konger girl who is no believer but once studied in Christian school in HKG. So she was not completely strange to the gospel message, but she seemed receptive to the idea that as long as we are not perhaps, every normal good persons also need salvation.

2) Next I was led to approach a Muslim by the name Hashish from Bangladesh. Surprisingly he took in the gospel quite well without any preoccupied thought and did not feel offence to hear about Jesus as God and our savior. Happily he took selfie with mew as a gesture of appreciation for our frank and open chat.

3) Kai a local Aussie and UQ student , claimed himself a 50/50 split of Christian. SO I simply shared him the full gospel again and hopefully helped him to rekindle his love of God, Jesus and his salvation.

4) Then I was moved to approach a local Aussie girl, who is a non believers but was brought up from Christian School. We build rapport as she is studying Psychology while I was a Counselor student. She also appreciated hearing the Gospel that had rekindled her heart for Christianly when ahs was young.

5) Last but not the least I caught up with a person from Jiang Xi , he appeared very open and receptive to the gospel

Battle Log of the Gospel Outreach of Gold Coast Chinese Christian Church in the proximity of Australia Fair, South Port on Thursday May 16th 2024 from 1300 to 1430 and the Extra Toowong Outreach by Rev Kwan at more or less the same time period.

Today , only Paul and Fernanda were available for the weekly street outreach . All other regular team members were all occupied by some other appointment. i.e. Rev Kwan had to send his wife to Brisbane Private Hospital for the last rehab body check up at 1 pm that will last for 2 hours. So Rev Kwan switched to do street outreach at a near by place at Toowong. Thanks God stopping the rain and let me share with many non believers with good result. As soon as Rev Kwan finished and had to rush to hospital to pick up his wife. The rain fell down poring again. So virtually, God had opened up a window of opportunity to allow Rev Kwan serve in a dry condition for His Kingdom sake,

1) Ahmed, an Iranian Muslim but not a firm Islamic follower. I could feel his initial resistance to talk about Jesus, but was moved to build rapport first rendering praise for the Iranian Christians while receiving Christ overseas like in Australia, majority of them chose to return to Iran to plant church and some even send themselves to near neighbor country like Türkiye having so far built 100 or more Iranian Christian churches to cross culturally evangelize the younger Türkiye generations. It gave him the sense of pride for the marvelous thing his compatriot have done. It consequently has softened his heart by the Spirit to open up to understand and appreciate the Gospel. We end up happily taking selfie to leave a mark in this divine encounter.

2) Then I was led to catch up with Zheng ? from Guangzhou . He was open for chatting from a materialism advocate point of view . I nevertheless only had time to share half of the gospel. Pray for God's follow up work.

3) Then I was led to approach a local Aussie girl with a wig of purpose color. It implies she is an attention seeking person. Before I started sharing the gospel, I use the clue of Fair Dinkum to build rapport. But curiously, she suddenly turned irritative when asked something she does not know and appeared scared? It was a very rare reaction. Just pray for God's continuous guardiancy to lead her to salvation.

4) Next I caught up with an UQ student from Indian. He was open and friendly, but was able to share the nutshell of the gospel.

5) Finally, I was led to connect with Achars, an Indianan of Hinduism but was born here in Australian. But the family religion affiliation heavily impacted his religious and world view emphasizing that it is up to individual to lead a righteous and fruitful life. But at the end , he admitted no one is perfect and righteous enough to earn our way to heaven. It was a significant and good shift of world view paradigm.

6) And finally I caught up with a lady from Jiangxi Nanchong . She admitted she is an Athiest but she once received the OOPN 513 gospel tract at the kGS possibly from Ryan's week end physical team. But she took initialtive to take two tract Chinese and English so in a sense she was half open to know more about God though her preoccupation of atheism limited her to think beyond the box of our limited human mind and awareness. . Yet evidently, she was moved to re-examine the message of Gospel in a serious manner. Pray for God mercy and grace to guide her to make her last step of action faith.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday May 7th, 2024 from 1330-1430

Today my regular outreach team partner is away to Melbourne for a week. So, I went to do solo again with amazing divine encounters obviously orchestrated by God as recap below. The weather was down cast but fine. Yet the sky turned dark and with rain down pouring in the middle of my outreach ministry. Eventually I had to end a bit earlier because of the heavy down pour got everybody hiding for shelter not coming yet to the bus stop. God grace was sufficient and the sky turn bright half an hour later when I was on my way home.

1) 1minute only left for my first approach. It was a young Aussie guy who walked past me on our way to the bus stop. I was urged still to approach him despite his bus was coming in a minute. He was all open and friendly and mistaken that I will also take the bus with him to continue our chat. I anyway can manage to just give him a tract. I can only trust God that this hasty contact is still a meaningful one.

2) Then I was drawn to approach first a young English-speaking lady from Malaysia. She is a non-believer but appear receptive to the gospel message I shared that have led to a conclusion that as long as we admit no one including ourself is perfect, we all need a Savior to die for us and take our place to receive the punishment of our sins.

3) Then her friend came and is from Indonesia. To my surprise, she is a Christian back home in Indonesia. And I encouraged her to follow up with her Malaysian friend towards final conversion. And I also took the chance to test for here assurance of Salvation when the bus arrived. Though in a hurry, she was good and spot on to have 100 % of assurance with the right basis of trusting in Jesus alone. We hurriedly took a selfie to record this special divine encounter.

4) Then I was led to approach Lucas, again was the 2nd Indonesian for the day. What surprise me was that he is also a Christian from a Christian family in Indonesia but also a practicing Christian attending his own denominational Presbyterian church in the City here in Brisbane. What further surprise me was, he also got perfect understanding of salvation and 100 % assurance of salvation. It really encouraged me that Gid can reign in Indonesia a Muslim country with an extraordinarily higher than average ratio of Christian. He was also very happy and pleased to take a selfie with me.

5) Then I was next led to meet up with Flora, yet another Malaysian for the day. She is also non-Christians and possibly a Muslim and she is Malay rather than Chinese. She showed initial hesitance to chat with me a stranger but stay put to let me share her the full gospel. It seemed that she was overwhelming convinced and eventually lost for word to show any disagreement.

6) Then I was led to approach a Mainlander girl by the name of Zheng ? from Beijing I was moved to start with my personal testimony especially the time and work I served in Sichuan China as an earthquake disaster relief volunteer . She was amazed by the power of Jesus helping vulnerable people to get healed from their early life emotional failure. Even though I did not have time to share the gospel, but she willingly took the tract and I believed God might have a better way to touch her heart.

7) Lastly, I approached the only Mainlander girl left at the bus stop because of abrupted rain fall. Her reaction was fear and rejection to hear the gospel. It was a big contrast to Zheng showing that it was really by the grace of God that some are elected to turn away from sin but to Christ.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday April 30th, 2024 from 1030-1130

Today my regular outreach team partner was not available due to personal matter. I went to do solo having mixed results as recap below:

1) I was clearly led to approach a girl after the long queue was cleared up by the quick arriving bus but she was still there waiting for another bus. She is born here but her parents were from UK. And to my surprise I met for the first time a persons of Judaism faith, seemingly form family heritance. She was determined to reject believing Jesus was the prophesized Messiah. She appeared open throughout but try to avoid further discussion on Jesus. I Used Bible to convince her Jesus is readily the prophesied Messiah or the descendant of woman as per Gen 3:15b. She appeared nervous when I produce more proof of the person of Jesus as God and as our Saviour. It gave me the feeling that the people of Judaism faith is even a harder people group to share them the personality and work of Jesus.

2) Thrive a mature young man from Townsville who claimed to have chatted with me one year ago. Somehow, he forgot about the tract so I revised the Gospel message and rekindled his thoughts how to respond to salvation by grace offered by Jesus to us the sinners. He was happy to take a selfie with me in case we meet quickly next time.

3) Another Gold Coast boy of computer science major is non-religious but still appeared open for a chat on the gospel message. Though the time only allowed me for just the nutshell of the Gospel. But he seemingly was in agreement of the facts and logic that anyone imperfect need Jesus as our Savior.

4) Then I caught up with a Cambodia girl who claimed having a chat with Johnny before. That conversation still did not convince her to have the need of any religion, but I stressed the need is there and urgent for anyone who is not perfect that she agreed and accepted that no o0ne including herself is perfect.

5) Lastly, I tried to approached first two mainlander Chinese, who appeared reluctant to engage for a chat though they did not give me an outright rejection. After a while the third girl joined and sat right beside me. And she is Cantonese speaking too, so I switched to share with her instead of all of them. But, eventually all three mainlanders excused not to chat despite my effort to share ? I lamented that in general, Mainlanders are the hardest people group to do outreach than any others even harder than the Judaism and Muslim people.

6) Another noteworthy happening is:

A lady sitting at the bench underneath the Pedestrian walking bridge, seemingly waiting for people on my way to begin my outreach at the bus stop. But after I finished, when I got to that spot we used to do closing prayer, she was still there but seemingly chatting with a stranger. So Suddenly I felt warm as I might have witness another Street gospel outreach warrior there

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday April 9th, 2024 from 1030-1130

Johnny and Hung teamed up to serve at Toowong as usual. The Autumn sun was less scorching but appeared lay back warm providing a very pleasant open air outreach environment. Today, I forgot to bring my iPhone as such I could not take any photo but focused completely in outreach. By memory, I reached out to Mainlander from Shandong, Wuxi, Neimongu, and from Hng Kong. Normally it is Mainlander harder for outreach but this time all three of them had a good chat and all appeared receptive to the gospel message. On the contrary, the Hong Konger showed great indifference to reject the gospel despite my of my Hong Kong affiliation. So it was all be God's predestination to elect a certain person to have a softened heart and humble attitude to listen and accept the gospel. As for western people, I met a PNG Christian girl who however does not have assurance of salvation. She was thankful for my clarification to help her re-establish her 100% assurance of salvation and understood that God's sovereign power an Will has determined to transform us back to perfection on the foundation of Jesus' redemptive work granting us readily the long lost heavenly citizenship. Finally, I was led to have a long chat with a Catholic background girl Finn who is Australian born but with parents from Irish and Finland. She was well prepared with a softened heart to take in all the gospel message and admitted her previous understanding of salvation was incomplete. She is willing to commit herself to Jesus accepting Him as Savior and Lord of her life. May His Will be done on all those whom we met and be moved to make their final step of faith.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday April 9th, 2024 from 1030-1130

Today, originally I could not join the Toowong Street outreach from 1330 to 1500 as I have to take my wife to the Brisbane Private Hospital for a rehab appointment from 1000-1200 then bring my wife home for rest. However, Johnny just told me yesterday he has conceived CoVic as such he has to miss to day outreach ministry. Considering that 2 hours of waiting at the hospital is a waste of time for the Lord. So I was moved to go to Toowong to do a shorter round of outreach earlier from 1030 to 1130 than rushed back to pick up my wife. The timing was all good and I was able to chat with few UQ students as recap below: -

1) When I arrived there was a long queue but the bus was due to come in a minute so I had to wait for this queue be taken up by the bus, then I was led to first approach a Mainlander girl Liu from Hangzhou. I got hook up with Liu? quickly as told her Hangzhou was the first city outside of HKG I had ever visited in my Uni years. Secondly, she was interested to know I was a Master of counselling student of UQ while her under grate was on Educational Psychology. The Spirt soften her heart to listen to the full gospel even at the cost of missing her bus. She showed genuine appreciation for the gospel message and appear very receptive to Jesus salvation.

2) Then the Spirit led me to catch up with Astraea, an American born Pakistanis but still of a Muslim family. Yet she was also all open to the Gospel and she agreed that human could not rely on good deeds to heaven, but trusting God. She does not like most Muslim rejecting Jesus as God but just a lesser prophet then Mohamad. Instead, she seemed not disagreeing Jesus is God who incarnated as a man born of virgin but not born into the human race of a normal family with father and mother. She was happy to my explanation that Jesus could not be born into human race who carries Original sin as the enemy of God as such against himself as the son of God. She earnestly took a tract to revise on what I shared with her.

3) Then I caught up with Markka whose dad is Aussie and mum from Shenyang , Mainland China. He was also all positive and open for Gospel. Though his bus quick arrival cut short my gospel sharing. He seemed to be all Amen readily about Jesus as His Savior.

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday April 9th, 2024 from 1300-1500

It was a cozy autumn afternoon with the sun shining lazily without the usual heat. We waited for a while to let the long queue be dissolved by the quick arriving bus. It was a normal day that our outreach face rejections but still many other targets elected by God had been approached with mixed result. We simply humble ourself to do His work.

1) I was led to approach Two Pakistanis of bad English. One of them actually came for the TESOL study while his friend simply cannot speak English at all. But I still managed to chat with the one who speaks limited English and explained the gospel to him with the help of the tract and cover picture of Jesus' crucifixion. I trusted that God still used this divine encounter to shed light on their lives.

2) Caroline is a girl from Columbia who has no religion following despite her country is majority a Catholic one. She nevertheless appeared quite receptive to the gospel message that we are all good but imperfect persons as such a sinner in God's eyes. Thus, we all need a Savior to save us from eternal death.

3) Hannah is from Brazil who has already graduated and is staying here for work. He claimed himself non-religious. He is open mind to believe there is a God but don’t think he needs to affiliate with any particular god possibly he thinks he is a good enough person. So, my gospel presentation really gave him a big alarm shock that he cannot claimed himself righteous because of his own good deeds but must trust and rely on Jesus to take his place to receive the eternal death punishment of sins. He was happy to take a selfie with me to show his appreciation.

4) Then I was led to approach Deed a young lady from UK and is in here 2nd year study. Again, she was very sincere and humble to listen to the gospel and show great receptiveness to accept Jesus as her Savior.

5) Then I caught up last with a girl form Tianjin, China She is studying business but claimed she heard the gospel before in Singapore and did not think she need to listen one more time. I switched to share my own testimony to show how I was once like her dismissing the need of salvation by Jesus

Battle Log of Operation 513 at Toowong on Tuesday April 2nd, 2024 from 1300-1500

It was by grace that I could still manage to deliver my committed duty of street gospel outreach at Toowong today, as God let the pre-operation procedure of my wife Ling be long enough to leave a break between the dropping off and picking up time from the hospital. So, we started normally at 1330 but had to finish earlier at 1430 to rush to hospital to pick up my wife. The sun was a bit scorching hot, but we nevertheless still managed to make many conversations.

1) First I was instead invited by Yvone Chan of CCCB St Lucia Ryans congregation. She thanks God for our steadfastness to serve Him as she never fails to find us there at the bus stop week in week out.

2) Then I caught up with an Aussie middle age gentleman who is non-religious, however, he had little disagreement to the gospel message and admitted every one need Jesus.

3) Shih a Fijian Indian person who claims he has studied all religions out of his only personal interest. I stressed to him what made Christianity stand out from the rest is the way it addresses sin and the wrath of God against sin.

4) Then I had a long chat with Jun?from Wenzhou he is non-religious materialism . He does not believe in any supernatural thing but he also could not reject the gospel message that we are all sinner that needs God to forgive our sins through the self-sacrificing atone death of Christ.

5) Joseph from Cairo Egypt was well aware of Christianity spreading in his country with all the good impact though himself is still regarded as Islamic by birth. He holds an open and assertive attitude towards Christianity.
