Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday May 11, 2021 from 1330 to 1500

Praise and thanks God that He allowed a great test in the form of bullying by robbing the Gospel flip chart out of the blue. The Indian look middle age person possibly thought it was illegal to preach the gospel on the street as such he acted to uphold the righteousness, he thought he had in his hand by sabotaging our street evangelism ministry. He first stripped off the tract from Winnie when she was sharing with someone and then he went further to suddenly grab the flip chart from the hand of Johnny while he was using it to demonstrate to his gospel target. This rough acts readily scared off Johnny's gospel target. Johnny did not want to make a big scene so he did not try to fight with that guy hoping that he will return the flip chart to him when his bus came. That Indian guys did call the police by phone to lodge his complain but obviously his complain was ignore by the police. This possibly had triggered his anger and tempted him to execute righteousness in his own hand by confiscating Johnny's hand held Gospel flip chart and to get on the bus when it arrives. Johnny was shocked that he can rob him of the flip chart as such he tried to grab it back from the hand of that Indian guy but failed. I was sharing with another person while above incidence happened. When the bus came, my gospel target had also to leave to embark onto the bus. So I was free to step up to mediate for this conflict. Initially, I also did not know how to react, but another onlooking lady who rejected our gospel approach a few minutes ago stepped in and advised us to ask the bus driver to stop the bus and demanded that Indian Guy to return the robbed item to us. Actually, somebodies else on the bus possibly the bus driver or other passengers had already acted on this line as such the Indian Guy unwillingly threw the flip chart out from the bus on the ground. God gave me spiritual gut to got on the bus to confront that Indian guy by showing our stand that we did not want to make a mess to delay other innocent passengers, but I made it clear to him that his rouge behaviour robbing Johnny's possession is a criminal act while we have all the legal right to exercise our freedom of speech to share gospel with those who are willing to have a chat with us. I was graceful for the intervention by God moving so many people to stand on our side to say NO to the religious abuse by this uninformed person. This incidence happened more or less toward the latter part of our street ministry so the interruption to our mood was not that big. We continued to serve and wrapped up at the normal time frame. Basically, we all got non-stop chances to share the gospel to people with varying initial reaction status, but still ending up getting the gospel message passed onto the non-believers and those unclear believers. Recap are the battle log of Hung and Winnie as usual: -

1) Jack a local Aussie was all receptive to let me share the full gospel intermingled with my own testimony to demonstrate how I got waken up from the misconception that being a good person is sufficient to qualify for heaven. He admitted there is no reason he should reject this offer of free gift of eternal life prepared by Jesus for him at the expense of dying for us and taking our place to receive the punishment we deserved for our sins.

2) A Muslim girl declined for a chat but God changed her heart to accept the tract when the bus came.

3) Then I approached an India girl who also show no interest initially claiming she got our tract before. But when asked if she read it she was honest enough to said no. So I appealed to her to listen to the nutshell of Gospel to see if she would change her mind to read the tract at home. The bus came to cut our conversation short but obviously God was at work to turn around the situation.

4) Then came Stephen a Catholic boy whom I initial thought was a non believer. But after sharing the gospel to him, he responded that he was a Catholic Christian that was why he appeared like a non believer without assurance to go to heaven. It was good I helped him to establish his full and correct understanding on salvation by faith through grace and that he should have 100% assurance on basis of the redemptive work of Jesus alone. Thereafter, God will continue to transform us back to perfection through Holy Spirit on top of the foundation of Jesus redemptive act. By the way, I thanks God that our conversation took place amidst the confusion stirred up by that Indian Guy but God helped me to remain focus on my preaching and sharing to Stephen even though I clearly heard him calling the police to plot upon us.

5) A hippie girl stood up for righteousness to help us even though she did not share our heart for street evangelism action. It reminded me that God can make all thing and use all person, including a non believer, work together to rescue us from the evil doing of that Indian guy with Satan backing him up from behind. So we should never give up on any person who rejected us initially but keep an open mind to grab hold on any chance of a turn around situation with a changed heart.

6) Johnny approached an Atheist from 阿塞拜彊. Republic of Azerbaijan is a country in the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Located at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, it is bounded by the Caspian Sea to the east, the Russian republic of Dagestan to the north, Georgia to the northwest, Armenia and Turkey to the west, and Iran to the south. While around 97% of the population is Muslim, the Constitution of Azerbaijan does not declare an official religion and all major political forces in the country are secularist. No wonder this guy can defy the cultural pressure of a Muslim dominant country to have become an Atheist. He showed no interest to talk with Johnny about any religion including Christianity. And their conversation was got blocked when Johnny failed to recognize his country and culture. I stepped in to keep the chat on with that guy by identifying with him my knowledge about his country and culture in a friendly manner. It helped to make him relax and becoming more opened for a longer chat. It was a pity that the arrival of the bus cut our conversation to an end which otherwise would lead to sharing of gospel which he initially avoided. Will pray for a future encounter to get the work of God for that guy being carried on through us.

7) Mia an UQ student from Tsingtao, China showed rare openness to have a long chat with me. It was possibly because I approached her while she was eating waver biscuit as her lunch so that I teased her half-jokingly that she might be too busy for a decent lunch. She was impressed by my empathy with her as such she offered to share eating waver with her which had become the ice breaking point for a heart-to-heart long chat. She let me share with her the gospel first, but she took initiative to switch the topic to why she accepted Buddhism as her religion faith. It was all because of the unexpected early death of her beloved grandfather who was a publicly recognized good teacher. At his Buddhist style funeral held at a shrine, she vowed to Buddha that she will become a disciple of Buddha if she can have a dream to see her beloved grandpa that night which did happen. So, it gave her the conviction that a good person will be awarded with wish coming true in the form of blessing to her life. But I was quick to correct her that being a good person may not necessary always resulted with blessing. Her beloved Grandma was the exact opposite example unless she accepts the logical inference that her Grandpa had done something bad to deserve the punishment of a shorter life. She was speechless to disagree with me and I took on this line to return back to my gospel sharing that no matter how many good deeds we have done but all human is bound to be imperfect with punishable sin for eternal death suffering in the hell of fire. God loves us but he could not let sin unpunished. The only way out is to let a perfect person to take our place to receive that punishment. So Jesus is the only perfect person who is God by incarnated as a perfect person to be the scape goat to sacrifice his life to die for us and shoulder all our sins to set us free from the bondage of sin. It was the work of God to have soften her heart and becoming complete receptive to the gospel message and the offer of free gift of eternal life by Jesus. The bus came at the right time to leave her to respond to God in her private moment afterwards.

8) Three big fellows with lot of shopping stuff got to the bus stop. Two of them rejected outright my approach but the third one accepted my tract when I turned to him. Though I had not time to chat as the bus arrived right away, but I trusted that God’s work on that third fellow is unhindered for a fruit bearing result.

Battle Log of Winnie who had got divine appointment to chat with 10 persons despite of the spiritual evil attack orchestrated by Satan.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday May 4th , 2021 from 1330 - 1500

It was a warm and sunny Autumn afternoon. It was still the team of three Johnny, Winnie and Hung to partner with God to share the Gospel in His strength and in His plan and Will. With this mindset as a servant of God or vessel to be used by God to channel the bottom-line blessing to people of all nations. It will free us from self-burden of not good enough for His work as God can use whatever broken vessel to do His job. So we will not feel incompetent when facing more than normal rejection on a certain day. We also will not feel too proud of ourselves with a lot of contact in a good smooth sailing day. It is all the work of God and glory be to Him alone. We just pray that God will move and call more people to join the street evangelism team to see His Name be made known to people of all Nations. Today, again all the three of us had a very good day of working with the Spirit. God even had moved a few people proclaiming to receive Christ right a way on the spot. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung and Winnie.

1) A Big local Aussie boy was ok to chat but I just barely had enough time to share the nutshell of the gospel.

2) Joshua is a joyful guy from Rockhampton to attend UQ starting in July. He is sort of guy who likes to plan ahead. He is from a Christian family with a Grandfather priest of the Catholic Church. Yet his parent is not church going but he has limited knowledge of the Bible but far not enough to comprehend the salvation of God by grace through faith. My sharing helped clarify issues and bring him to the full understanding of our need as a sinner to accept Jesus as our saviour and Lord of life.

3) Corey and Josephine is a dating boy and girl friend from Townsville, They are also of Catholic background and are not church going. Neither of them have Assurance of salvation which was gladly clarified in depth before the bus came.

4) I spoke to a middle age lady from Beijing. I gained her trust by identifying with her home city with my past visiting experience. Once she lent an open ear to me then I switched quickly to gospel sharing which was appealing to her. Pray that this first seed of gospel will bear fruit in His time.

5) Paula is a local Aussie living at St Lucia of Catholic background. It was no surprise he does not have concept of salvation. Yet he reacted positively and genuinely toward the gospel message. Pray that he will receive Christ as his saviour through this divine encounter.

6) Harshih is a Malaysian big boy. He argued that if a machine went wrong, it is the problem of the manufacturer. Likewise, if human sin, it is the responsibility of the creator God. I responded that the maker God did make us perfect in His image, yet we have been given free will so we have to responsible for our sin. So I reiterated and established that we sin out of our free will so we are all subject to judgement and is due to be punished by eternal dead or separation from God. The only way out is let a perfect person take our place for the punishment of our sin which was done by Jesus as our redeemer and saviour. I pray that this apologetic exchange will gave that young man new light to reflect upon our own imperfect if not sinful character as a member of the fallen human races.

Chi JIn is from Quanzhou 廣州,she chose to speak in English with me despite she speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese. 說英語,the exchange of opinion was rational. She seems to have both rational but independent thinking as such she at the end was convinced that the gospel is logical, sensible and compassionate with divine love of God upon us. She actually was shared by Winnie in previous week, but did not use it as an excuse to turn down my approach for a conversation. Seemingly she is one more big step closer to the final stage of embracing Jesus' redemptive grace.

Battle Log of Winnie approaching 12 persons five of which are Christians but do not fully understand salvation. The others are non-believers.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday April 27, 2021 from 1330 to 1500

Praise and Thanks God that Jenna introduced a couples from CCCB St Lucia to join us and started serving with us on the Street right away after a briefing by both Hung and Johnny. It was a good challenge to Brother Pak and his wife Sister Lan as this is the first experience to sharing Gospel to a stranger by random as led and guided by God. Both had been faring very well especially Brother Pak. He made many contacts and had conversation with both Chinese and English speaking people. Sister Lan might have to take more time to get used to this sort of random gospel opportunity beyond our control but I assured her that nothing happened by coincident and serve no purpose even the gospel sharing time is short and incomplete. God is the real life saver and life changer to follow up on each and every divine encounter till the elected targets respond to the gospel with full conviction to trust in Christ.

The whole team of five worked credibly well with almost non-stop Gospel opportunity to minister to people of all nations (people Groups) Recap below are the battle Log of Hung and Winnie.

1) Delta is a young local Aussie UQ student who initially showed no great interest to chat. But I kept a friendly smile to break the ice and he eventually open up to the gospel. Though the bus came a bit too early, but the seed of Gospel should have been sowed.

2) Then I approached a matured student who also showed no interest to chat and refused to accept my tract. But I used his mature student status to introduce myself identifying with him as a matured student to do Master of Counselling in 2008. Then it followed with my personal testimony mixed with sharing of Gospel. So thanks God to inspire me to take this de-tour route to successfully shared full gospel to this initially stone heart man.

3) Then I was led to share with an Indian UQ student. She appeared very friendly accepting the tract and listening to the gospel willingly in receptive manner.

4) Then I caught up with an UQ student from Brazil who was very friendly to engage in conversation with me. He is a non-believer, but I associated with him the Brazilian Church in Japan that is now got infected with new break out of Covid-19 but the Church still managed to serve and helped people locally. It is all because they have a new life with a new overarching life goal to love the Japanese that they don't know but to share to them the gospel like what I was trying to share with him. He was moved and promised to read the tract and pray to God.

5) Stirling an Aussie UQ student who was born in Hong Kong as such he claimed himself Chinese (Hongkonger) . His family have Christian background and is church going but he does not fully understand the gospel. With my explanation, he admitted that the gospel is sensible and logical. So pray that our divine conversation will serve as a kind of push to bring him closer to the point of making his step of faith to receive Christ as his saviour.

6) Irvine is an UQ student from Ireland of Catholic Christian background. He has no assurance of salvation, but find the gospel message very appealing and promised to have ago to renew his Christian faith to biblically admit himself a sinner that need the redemptive grace of Jesus.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday April 10, 2010 from 1330 -1500

The weather turned continuously fine with a warmer sun this afternoon posing us a more challenging condition apart from the uncontrollable response from strangers. Yet our heavenly Father did work with us giving us inspiration and wisdom to use word of complement to gain trust with those initially reluctant or even rejective strangers. As a result both Johnny and Winnie had almost non-stopped chance to share gospel. Recap below are the battle log of Hung and Winnie: -

1) Judy a local Aussie UQ girl was very open and responsive to the gospel sharing and appeared very receptive to consider receiving Jesus as her saviour.

2) Then I approached another UQ student from Bangladesh who showed little interest to chat yet with my persistence to keep sharing to him the full gospel in a nutshell. Can only leave it to God for His continuous work.

3) Then I caught up with an UQ student from Taiwan. He was polite and showed great willingness to listen to the gospel.

4) James is an UQ student from Bundaberg. He is very tall but also very shy to have conversation with stranger. I nevertheless chatted with him about Bundaberg to help him relax and get a better grip of the gospel message.

5) Then I faced up approaching a not so welcoming person who had been approached by Winnie that I only knew after viewing those pictures. Actually, this person was behaving very nice and patience despite our repeated approach. He took his stand as a non-religious person denying the existence of God and Heaven. I could only speak skilfully not to deny his stand but kept pushing my message that as an imperfect person , we all have to face judgement after death which can only be pardoned by the redemptive grace of Jesus through his atoning death.

6) Then I had chance to share with a Muslim girl from Indonesia. She initially wanted to turn me down taking the excuse that she has got the tract an have chatted with one of us before. I took this line to ask how well did she understand the gospel which of course was still un clear for her. I thus had the opportunity to share again the core of the gospel and left everything to God.

7) I chatted with Satire a local Aussie UQ girl who had the greatest response of the day. She admitted she is not perfect thus needs Jesus to take her place for punishment. She promise to pray and think seriously to receive Jesus.

Richard & Mary.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday April 13, 2021 from 1330 to 1500

Today was a fine Autumn sunny afternoon with lazy sun shine making our street evangelism outreach very comfortable and enjoyable. It was again the regular team of three Johnny, Winnie, and Hung. I was interrupted by urgent text messaging about the 11th enrollment for the 5th online Mandarin Kairos and ways to deliver the reader to that student in the Sunshine Coast as such I only have 6 divine encounter of varying length. In the meantime, both Johnny and Winnie were in full steam ahead especially Winnie having 16 contacts in the mere 80 minutes. It is evidenced that the Toowong mission field is a highly blessed one with the Holy Spirit working full force amongst us.

1) Chance an UQ student from Melbourne whose parents are from India and he was born in Australia. Although he had initial reluctance to chat but was obviously moved by the Spirit to turn open for chatting. I barely had enough time to share the nutshell of the Gospel when the bus arrived. Pray for God's follow up work using the tract that Chance promised to have a good read home.

2) Sandy whom I met couple of weeks ago who is friend with all Yasmin of Power to Change serving local Aussie. He is a fair dinkum Christian as such I change the subject of chat to encourage him to attend English Kairos starting May 12 at Cleveland Baptist Church.

3) Another Indian UQ student engaged in a quick chat before the bus arrived but at the end still declined to take a tract.

4) Jonathan is an Indonesia Christian who did not disclose his Christian identity when I shared the full gospel with him. His answer for certainty to go to heaven was negative with no assurance but may be a disguise to see what I preached ending up very positive and mutually edifying.

5) Lawrence is an Aussie girl who approached Johnny first for a tract and claimed herself a Christian. I chased her up to check if she has 100% assurance of salvation and found it all good. She actually is a serving member of Power to change for the local students. Yet she showed off her Mandarin skill which triggered my advice for her to switch to serve in the overseas student branch so that her gift in Mandarin can best be used by God.

6) Lastly I had a long chat with Zhou鄒 from Heibei河北, China. He was surprisingly opened and agreed the gospel message is sensible and logical to follow. He was interested to hear my testimony of serving in China and how God empowered us to do amazing ministry in China.

Here are the recap of the 16 contacts of Winnie with good results: -

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday April 6 from 1330 - 1500.

The 3 days lock down last week killed off only once our street evangelism. We were able to be back again this week despite heavy rain kept falling nonstop for almost the entire past week. By God Will, rain stopped completely during our time of street ministry and started drifting down again as soon as we finished our closing prayer.

Despite restriction of social gathering are as such everyone has to wear a face mask in public place, it had almost no deterring effect on our street evangelism ministry. All the three of us, Johnny, Winnie and Hung all got good share of chance for a chat. Though in reality, people from Mainland China are harder to reach out especially they are accompanied with friends. Recap below was my 6 divine encounters.

1) My first encounter was with a girl from Mainland China. She showed overt reluctance to chat and reject to take a tract. Fortunately , she was by herself so she did not ask me to leave her alone. I could keep sharing the gospel in an unhindered manner and she apparently was touched by the message though her upbringing still have imposed on her a great bondage to open up for truth. Pray for God's further work on her.

2) Then I caught up with a high level Buddhist lady . She discouraged me up front to not talk to her declaring she is an accredited Buddhist follower with good training of Buddhist doctrine. I had to strike a balance in letting her to voice out her view of Buddhism and chipping in message of Gospel to counteract with the Good deed oriented self-perfection practice. The Bus schedule did not give me more time to reach a satisfactory wrap up on our conversation. Can only pray for next round of encounter , if God willing.

3) Sophia was a lovely local Aussie girl whom I thought I had met before but I was wrong. Despite does not have any Christian connection in her upbringing, yet she received me with open arms to listen to the gospel with interaction showing high degree of receptiveness to the message. Pray for the final step of faith through the work of the Holy Spirit to bring Sophia to Christ.

4) Aman was an UQ student from China, like the first girl from China, he also showed initial reluctance to chat but finally caught up with me to hear the gospel.

5) An Indian mum with her daughter appeared a bit uneasy when I approached her. She nevertheless still allowed me to share the full gospel to her but when I touched upon sin and Jesus the only perfect man to die for us, she show obvious resistance to listen on. I pray and hope that the dark spirit in her life will be driven out by the work of God through the tract she took.

6) Another singleton UQ student from main China was approached by me to share him the full Gospel. He was comparatively more open and at ease to hear the good news with good sign of receptiveness.

Singapore.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday March 23, 2021 from 1330 to 1500

Praise and thanks God that despite of non-stop soaking rains in the past few days, God cleared the rain cloud and open up a window of Kairos moment for the four of us to serve at the Bus stop off Towong Villages. This week Winnie re-joined us Johnny, JMF and Hung after her cataract operation. Toowong is comparatively a ripe harvest field to get chat easier though not without blunt rejections. We all followed the guidance of the Holy Spirit to overcome many initial rejection and got eventual chance to share the gospel. In general, all the four of us had more smooth and positive gospel sharing opportunities than failure case of rejections. A particular instance stood out with all three of my team mates having a go to approach a young lady with a pretty Asian face. They however were all turned down by that pretty lady with a silence no talk gesture to force you give up on her. I initially thought perhaps it is a waste for me to approach her as the 4th attempt. But before I decided to give up, her boy friend turned up. Then I was moved to recall that they are a dating couple from The North Western part of China. I joyously approached them and correct told where they are from. God led me this time talked to the arrogant lady who claimed she has been reading the Bible a lot though she is not yet a believer. This time she threw me a question when is the memorial day of Jesus. I mentioned Christmas and Easter but she said it was not right and actually she refer the night that Jesus had the last super and left us the order to observe Communion as often as we should do. She thus took the word of Jesus and treated that as the day that Jesus asked us to commemorate him. Taking on this line of thought, it gave me perfect ground to explain the full gospel and the real meaning of to be in communion with God after we are saved and have become His people again. This unusual divine encounter would certainly linger on till the Kairos moment arrive to lead this lady and her boyfriend to Christ. Recap below is the battle log of mine and Winnie.

By the way, JMF shared that she got a lot of opportunities to catch up with UQ students of Catholic high school background and can refer them to join Power to Change with communication link left for future follow up. I hope she will be able to mobilize more PTC folks to take part into this sort of Street Evangelism in future.

1) Kumon an Atheist local Aussie though appearing very friendly for a chat. He was of course a bit skeptical to my gospel sharing especially about the question if God and heaven exists, but I still managed to challenge his assumption that can any physical substance exists without a maker? If the answer is negative, then why such a grandeur the Universe can exist without a creator God? He seemed to have no answer for this and the arrival of the bus just let him get away from this challenge. Pray that the tract will serve to cause him ponder a lot afterwards.

2) I was rejected by a south Asia lady after almost everyone had a go. Luckily, we were not discouraged by this fact as such we all still endeavored to find a circumvent way to keep the chat alive despite of initial rejections.

3) Then I was let to turn to an Asian face looking man who spoke no Chinese. He was hesitant to chat for a brief moment but softened down to listen but it was too short to start the chat as the bus arrived almost immediately. I still managed to pass him a tract to read and trust 100% God will have unfinished business with him.

4) Then a sat down beside a young lady by the name of Sarah. She dressed and had cosmetics make up 100% appeared as a lady but once talked then it was a 100% male voice. Despite my doubt on her possible status as a transsexual person, but her openness to chat about religious issues led me thinks she is a pure and simple girl. Anyway, she was all receptive to the gospel message and admitted that everyone including herself need Jesus as our Saviour.

5) Marian was an UQ student from Sadri Arabia of Islamic background. But he was very opened minded and appeared very receptive to the gospel message admitting he is also imperfect and has sin to be dealt with. He is happy to know that Jesus would be the one and only one perfect person who can take his place to receive the due punishment of his sin. Our chat was so joyous that even a passer by threw us an curious eye sight.

6) Then it was the highlight of the day as mentioned about. That was the encounter with the couples Johnny from 蘭州 Lanzhou and his girl friend from Xining 西寧 whom we had chatted before twice on Dec 8, 2020 and Feb 9, 2021).

7) Then came an Indian who also believed in one God but not the Christian God. I nevertheless let him know the unique way that Jesus died for all sinner and take our place to receive the punishment of our sin. The Christian God is different from all other "gods" as He is God of love but also a God of Righteousness that will not let any sins unpunished. He acknowledged this difference between the Christian God and all other gods.

8) Then I engaged into conversation with an Indian looking middle age woman who appeared Ok for a chat. But after reading briefly the tract, she changed her mind rejecting to chat anymore though I still was able to persuade her to keep the tract to read afterwards or give it to somebody else.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday March 16, 2021 from 1330 to 1500.

Praise and thanks God that JMF was called by God to join Johnny and Hung today in place of Winnie who needs one more week of rest after her cataract operation. She obviously has the gift and skill of street evangelism gained from her past full time ministry with Power to Point. The Spirit teamed up the three of us to have non -stop gospel sharing opportunities within that 1.5 hours period. Only a handful rejected to listen to the gospel message with majority willing hearts to let us share and some even were moved to make a ready commitment to receive Jesus. There were as usual many nominal Christians who have no assurance of salvation and full understanding of the gospel message. Pray that our sharing have helped them to get the concept right reinforcing their faith in Christ and Christ alone. I had comparatively less chance to engage into gospel sharing conversation as I needed to have an eye on JMF at the initial period. Once I found that she was serving in full force under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, then I picked up from there and had 5 conversations with one particularly long one as recap below: -

1) Andrew of Christian back ground. But he is not clear about the meaning of salvation and without assurance. All I could do is to give him a nutshell of the gospel before the bus arrived and clarify why he should have full 100% assurance of salvation simply because of what Jesus Christ has done for us all taking our place to receive the punishment of sin originally due to be exacted on us.

2) My second approach today was with an Indian woman Aashi who surprisingly appeared to be very receptive and listen with interest to the full gospel. Pray for God's further action to move and lead her to Christ.

3) Olivia an UQ post-graduate Master degree student from New Zealand. She did her undergraduate in USA , going back to NZ for a short while then has come to UQ for a Master degree of business management. Because of her extensive traveling experience living at different countries and cultures, she appears very open mind for new idea and challenges. Although she has no personal faith but she admits there is a supreme being which we call God. Yet she so far has not yet find the need to have life connection with any of such God. She was also receptive to the gospel message and found no way to dismiss it as illogical. I then shared my personal testimony which I thought is very alike with her that the rational mind and smooth life experience in the early part of my life had blinded my eyes for the need of salvation by Jesus. I just prayed and encouraged her to ponder with deep reflection to realize the need for every one including herself to accept Jesus better earlier than late as we have no control on the destiny of our life that can end at any unexpected moment. I anyway introduced her to join Power to Change if she really wants to pursue God in a serious manner.

4) James, a drunken man who claimed himself a Christian. He was ignored by Johnny as he smelled him drinking a lot. JMF was the next to approach James receiving a very enthusiastic response from him as a brother in Christ. JMF was about to find out that his faith and understanding of God's grace and salvation was incomplete, inclining to rely on good deeds. But she was interrupted by a by stander Chinese lady waring her out of good intention to avoid all those foreigner. I then took up to continue with the unfinished conversation to test the assurance of salvation of James. He struggled to give the correct answer but then the bus came. Pray that we will meet him some time in the future to follow up on him, if God willing.

5) Abigail is a local Aussie Christian but without assurance of Salvation. I had barely enough time to clarify the incomplete and incorrect understanding of salvation before the bus came.

Battle Log of Johnny :

Thank God leading and blessing us, Today at Toowong many people heard the gospel, there were two UQ students Weeley & Jacob, they wanted to trust Jesus Christ became their savior, please pray for them.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday March 9, 2021 from 1330 to 1500

It was yet another ordinary day dedicated to serve the Lord. Only Johnny and Hung were available with Winnie taking a medical surgery sick leave for two weeks. In this connection, it kept both of us more busy to have non- stop chats. There were many occasions both of us were bound in chatting without taking any photo for each other. Recap below is my battle log for 10 conversations.

1) Felt , a local Aussie who tendered me initial rejection. But I switched to pure chat mode to gain friendship and was successful to share full gospel with him.

2) Sandy an UQ student also a fair dinkum Christian who is friend of Yasmin of Power To Change. He is aware of OPN 513 and basically has got full and clear understanding of salvation with 100% assurance.

3) Bridget an Aussie girl who was reluctant to chat initially. Again the new tactic of making friend worked to keep the conversation carry on with Gospel also eventually been shared.

4) Will was willing to chat though we only talked for a short while and nut shell of the Gospel was shared in time before the bus arrives.

5) An arrogant half HongKonger originally from Mainland China was not sure if he wanted to hear the Gospel but I still managed to keep the chat going on basing on the HongKonger identity. Yet he has a stone heart to keep resisting to hear the gospel after I persisted to share for a short while. Anyhow, I still felt that God is determined to break him up one day to submit himself to Christ.

6) Joyce an old Christian lady who is not clear about the gospel but sure about her salvation. It was a pity I did not have more time to help her to get the more comprehensive understanding of gospel.

7) A tall guy Henk Li from Liao Ning of Mainland China is of Buddhist background by family tradition. He is very polite and friendly to listen to the Gospel with great interest. Pray that the seed of Gospel will sprout in His time to bear fruit.

8) An local Aussie in red grid shirt showed politeness to chat with me but showing no interest though he still took the tract to read. So pray for God's follow up work

9) A Catholic Christian yet without assurance of salvation. He was humble to chat but it was a pity the bus came a bit too quick before I had time to elaborate.

10) Abby an local Aussie UQ student who appeared very receptive to the Gospel and listened with great interest. Pray for God's follow up work.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Toowong on Tuesday February 23, 2021 1330 - 1500

Another scorching hot day but it did not stop us to have many conversations in the Spirit. We as a team have learned to face rejection. Winnie has learned from us that we switch from gospel mode to friendship mode when facing initial rejection. As long as the conversation can linger on, there is bound to be point we can chip in gospel message at a later stage, Recap below are the Battle Log of mine and Winnie.

1) Frank, local Aussie, had an open mind to listen to the Gospel, with a heart yet to be softened further. Anyhow the seed of Gospel was sown. God's work is to be continued.

2) Mirada an UQ student from Roma. Her parents were from Sri Lanka of Buddhist background. Yet she is open to gospel message especially when I emphasize all religions including Buddhism are good at guiding people to be a good persons. But none except Christianity address the issue of sins that are subject to punishment to satisfy the righteous requirement of God. Without Jesus as a perfect person to take our place to receive the punishment of sins, we all will suffer eternally in the Hell of Fire. She admitted Gospel is sensible and logical for everyone to accept.

3) Liu is a Malaysian Chinese from KL of also Buddhism background. Her reaction was similar to Mirada showing receptiveness and is ready to make the step of faith to accept Jesus.

4) Lily is from Singapore of possibly Indian blood. Surprisingly , she is of similar Buddhist background s the previous two girls. The bus cam a bit too quick as such the nutshell of gospel only was shared.

5) Anwah is an UQ student from Sardi Arabia fully dressed in her Muslim background costume. But she again was surprising open showing the greatest degree of receptiveness to the Gospel showing no sign of rejection despite of her Muslim background. She really has the biggest prospect to make the needed step of faith.

6) Josie an local Aussie girl who claimed herself to be Christian. The diagnosis question one was correct that she has 100% of assurance of salvation, but failed to give me reason why she was saved. It was a pity I could not offer him more clarification and teaching as the bus again arrived a bit too early.

Battle Log of Winnie: -

Lana

Jason,
