Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday April 20th, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Praise and thank God we had Gary and Amy re-joining the Sunnybank team after the school holiday to form a three persons team. As usual, Gary set up Gospel sign to draw attention of pedestrians. Amy was good at chatting with young people while Hung mostly with the elderly today although it might not be a pattern. But today's experience led me to ponder the elderly people in the church are less equipped with very insufficient discipleship sort of teaching. They are full of weird thought and wrong teaching of the bible doctrine. The worse is, many of them are not yet saved without a clear understanding of the salvation by grace through faith in Christ and still considered good deeds are all we must care for rather than our mere faith in Christ. One good thing that can cheer us up was that, a group of Indian or middle East face people that Gary had approached at the far end of the bus station. After they finished their chat and walked past me when I was sharing gospel with Debbie, they gave us thumb up and laud praise by saying Hallelujah to the Lord as an affirmation and encouragement of our work for and with God. Recap is the battle log of Hung for today.
1. Mr Yu 余 from Hong Kong 港人 claiming himself and family are all Christians. But what shocked me was that he was proud to declare he does not believe that there is a God and deny the Creation account of the bible claiming it is a result of human ignorant of science and lazily attribute every thing to an unknown God. It really made me lost of word when he still claimed he is a Christian. I actually spent the longest time to try to answer all his self-contradicting theory. For example, he agreed that nothing will come from nothing. Everything must have a cause of its existence by creation. But then he rejects the world is created by God but a simply a kind natural existence happening by itself. He knows that Newton was a scientist but he does not know Newton was also a Theologian. And he rejected to accept the conclusion made by all top scientists including Einstein that when the material world failed to find the first cause of the universe, then it logically proved that the first cause is God who exists by Himself in trinity before time and beyond space. Anyway, I trust God let us chat to help me realize, a large group of nominal Christians are existing in the churches and proper teaching must be addressed to these ignorant group of people.
2. God gave me a break to chat with an easy going Kevin who is Vietnamese possibly of Buddhism background but appeared very open for discussion and showed acceptance of the logicality and rationality of Gospel. He was happy to take a tract to ponder on the issues and Gospel I shared.
3. Then I approached Debbie who said she had chatted with one of us before. I simply asked for permission to refresh her memory of what was shared and what she read from the tract and it proved that Debbie could get a fuller understand of the gospel and was just a last step of faith away from salvation by Christ.
4. The 2nd elderly Christian I chatted with was Mrs Yan 嚴姊妹from the EMP Church. She has no assurance of salvation and kept stressing that she will keep doing good things to earn assurance of salvation. I virtually shared the gospel all over from scratch to her but her mindset still got stuck at the non-biblical Chinese moral teaching of being a good person is the only thing a human can do to earn a ticket to heaven.
5. Tim and girlfriend appeared to be a very good listener of the gospel despite they said they had been approached by Amy. Later on I learned from Amy that they are from Mongolia Republic 外蒙, but not one province of China 內蒙. Actually, they are all Christians but it was a pity I got no time to test for their assurance of salvation.
6. Sharon a local Aussie lady that Amy mistaken as some one who had rejected her before. It actually was somebody else but Sharon was very open and receptive to the gospel message. She took a tract afterward indicating she will consider to accept Jesus.
7. The towards the end, I chatted with one of the Chinese students from é’島,天津,上海,I could identify with him my vast traveling experience in China to earn identification before sharing the gospel. Later I learn from Amy that some of them are already Christians as well.
Battle Log of Gary :
Spoke to another 'Christian' today who thought by being good is the way to heaven.
Alternatively and correctly - we only get to heaven by being forgiven.
The gospel is one of being given the gift of salvation - not working towards it or earning it.
It is only with the knowledge of being saved that out of it we have thankful heart's and will want to obey Him.
BTW. Please pray for this person - that they would truly be saved by Grace alone.
Romans 3:10 'As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one"
**We are deceiving ourselves if we believe that our salvation can be earned by adding to the blood of Christ**

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday April 13th, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Because of School Holiday, both Gary and Amy Yao could not come because they both have children and family to look after. So, only Johnny and Hung teamed up as usual. The people flow is comparatively great here at the Sunnybank Bus station, it is both an advantage and disadvantage of open-air street outreach. As a result , we had numerous conversation but most of them were short being interrupted by the frequent arrival of bus. Yet, we still believe, God can make use of our steadfast outreach action faith to trigger continuous deliverance plan and process for all who have been elected by God for receiving His predestine blessings. Recap below are my Battle Log : -
1. A Vietnamese Chinese Diaspora man越å—è¯åƒ‘ took initiative to greet me that led me to think that we had met before. Actually, it was not the case. I waited no time to share the gospel to him but still I failed to beat the quick arriving bus so I could only trust God and rely on the tract that I handed out to that man.
2. Filipino lady was a reluctant listener, but I still just manage to share with her the nutshell of the gospel.
3. Then I have an interesting conversation with a young fashionable man from mainland China by his post-modern hair dressing style. He is not yet a believers but was very open for discussion on religion. He actually appeared well versed in Bible story as such he had good interaction with me on the gospel and doctrine of salvation. Again out conversation cut short by the quick arriving bus. ä¸å›¯å°‘å¹´, åšå¸å¤šèž,開放èªåŒ
4. A NZ young woman with Chinese look but is English speaking. She was very open to gospel but I could only manage to share the core message because of quick arriving bus.
5. Joseph a mature man from PNG. Actually, he is a fair dinkum Christian with 100% assurance of salvation. I found out later Johnny had several conversation with him before. He took a selfie with me in appreciation of what we are doing for the Lord.
6. I was able to catch up with another Chinese mature man but our conversation was cut short by the quick arriving bus.ä¸åœ‹å¤§å”å¯ä»¥èŠ
7. Then I chatted with two Singaporean QUT students both named Brian and Brian. They are non-believers but were both open for conversation on gospel. They both were convinced Christianity is the right way for all imperfect persons to be redeemed to reconcile with God.
8. Joe a fall-back Christian from Hong Kong who shared all the reasons while he does not attend church after coming to Australia first because of Uni study, then job commitment and finally marriage and care for family. He was with the Tsim Sha Tsui Chiu Zhou Life Church which should be a good denominational church with sound biblical teachingå°–æ½®äººç”Ÿå‘½å ‚ç”Ÿæ´»å¸ç¿’ç–離教會,yet his understanding of salvation is incomplete and has no assurance of salvation. But he was moved to reactivate his church life but a pity that I cannot leave him with my contact no.
9. Frank, an English speaking Malaysian man though a bit introvert but appeared quite open and receptive to the gospel.
10. I was rejected by a lady from Mainland China mistaken me as a sale person.ä¸åœ‹ä¸è¦æŽ¨éŠ·ï¼Ÿ
11. I caught up with a couple of brother and sister from Tianjin.天津.å§Šå¼Ÿï¼Œé¡˜èŠ the sister was more open for conversation. And the nutshell of gospel only was shared.
12. I caught up with another English speaking Malaysian lady from Ipoh馬è¯ï¼Œwe could only have a short causal chat but not yet have chance to share gospel with the quick arriving bu.
13. Roy a builder worker rejected me to share the gospel with him, but Spirit moved me to identify with him with the same political ideology as such I still can sneak in the gospel issue to prove that there is no perfect government and also no perfect citizens that eventually we all need redemption by Jesus.
14. Then I caught with Mr Chu from Nanjing. 朱å—京èŠå¤©æ‹¿å–®å¼µ We click because of my experience of visiting Nanjing in 1974 before China was open for free tourism. Again time was not enough so he just grab a tract and hope for a future reunion.
15. Julian is a fair dinkum Christian who listen to my sharing of the full Gospel and can answer my two diagnostic questions correctly.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday April 6th, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Today only Johnny and Hung teamed up to resume street outreach. Both Gary and Amy Yao were not available due to school holiday that they had to look after their kids. Despite with lesser manpower, God still bless the ministry in many ways. First, Sunnybank is by far the best environmentally sound venue sheltered by large tree with good shade from the scorching sun. Second, the human flow at the bus stop under the tree shade is constantly steady, as such both of us had incessant chance to approach people though of course with mixed result. In our mind, whether strict rejection, initial reluctance, half heartedly chat or fully open-minded conversation with good interaction, they are all divine encounter planned by God with long terms effect and God’s sovereign election for some to be moved and touched to receive Christ eventually. So, we simply just make our step of action faith to reach out people of all nations by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, with or without immediate results. It is more so, an important part of God’s training for those who are submissive to work with God to do His good work that may eventually lead to prominent growth in the spirituality of their lives. Recap below is the battle log of Hung : -
1. First approached an English lady who is a Christian and has 100 % assurance of salvation, yet running short to time to check the reason.
2. Second approach to a lady was declined.
3. Next approach to two good friends of which one is a Korean girl and the other is an Aussie girl. The both declared they are Christians and the Korean girl even confirmed she has 100% assurance of salvation but not because of Christ yet giving credit to their religious practice. What a big faulty teaching in salvation it is. Unfortunately, no time to clarify as their bus came.
4. Then encountered another unwilling Vietnamese who declined to chat but took a tract.
5. John and Robert are twin brothers still studying in high school. One managed to listen to my gospel sharing though half-heartedly while the one chose to stay away from the conversation. The one finished listening to my gospel sharing remain a polite manner to thanks for the conversation.
6. John a Korean migrant to Australia agreed good person should be able to go to heaven. Just only had time to clarify that nobody can unless one is perfect.
7. A Chinese young lady from Dong Kun æ±èŽž, Fu Shan , China by the named of Shing æˆå¥³å£«initially declined to chat with the excuse that she is a Buddhistä½›. I kept a friendship å‹å¥½building tactic to assert that all religion are good but only good at teaching people to be a good person yet failing to address the issue of sin. Finally also just have barely enough time to share the nutshell of Gospel.
8. Another Mainlander 大陸who was willing to have a chat but just barely enough for a nutshell of the gospel. 願è½.åƒ…å¤ æ™‚é–“
9. Rejected by a Chinese male who simply walked away to avoid me. ä¸ç”·æ‹’絕
10. Then I met up with Mr Liao å»– originally from Quandong 廣æ±ï¼Œbut migrated to PNG then to Australia for 30 years. He is a Catholic Christian天主教,not surprisingly he does not have assurance of salvation but the quick arriving bus deprived him an opportunity for a clarification.
11. Avoided by another Mainlander.ä¸å¥³å£«å»»é¿
12. Approached a Chinese male with family of wife and daughter. His bus arrived right away but I still managed to pass him a tract which he delightfully accepted. ä¸ç”·å£«ä¸€å®¶ä¸‰å£æ‹¿å–®å¼µ
13. Another Filipino Catholic adult whose name is Christian, Yet again he does not have full assurance but just 80% certainty of Salvation. He attribute those 80% not to Christ but to his good religious practice which is utterly wrong. Just had time to rectify his concept wit ha conclusion.
14. Callie a tall young Aussie deemed that Good Person is a subjective definition and there is no objective answer if a good person can go to heaven. I build on his opinion to share the gospel that he found it sensible and logical.
15. Finally, I approached an Aussie lady who was opened for a chat, yet the bus came too quick to cut the conversation short.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday March 23, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Gary re-joined us today arriving early and started with me and Amy first and later joined by Johnny making a team of four for reaching out at the Bus Stop. Praise and thanks God blessing Amy with many conversations helping her to become more well versed in the skill as well as catching the moving of the Spirit to find the right words to respond to questions or even challenges from the gospel listeners. In the mean time, God also allowed some aggressive hecklers to disturb or even attacked and interfered our outreach work but gave us wisdom and perseverance heart to withstand those hardship and adversity. In general, both Johnny and Amy had some very good conversation leading to close conversion status. Recap below is my Battle Log:
1. Madam Lin a senior woman from Indonesia came visiting her daughter in Melbourne than her son in Wishart Brisbane. She claimed to be a Christian but she was diagnosed without assurance of salvation. I checked if she attended Steven Tong's Church in Jakarta, and she said no. That has explained why she is still not well versed in basic gospel and salvation doctrine. I took longer time to help her get a better understanding of the core gospel message. She showed great appreciation of my teaching help.
2. Then I approached a couples of boy and girl friends Isaac and Rebecca. They were not keen to chat, but my friendship first tactics had kept them from bluntly rejecting me but instead listening on till I shared with them the full gospel.
3. Next I approached two Chinese ladies from Mainland China. Only the one sitting next to me Miss Huang interacted with me though with some degree of reluctance. The other one was not paying full attention but God moved Amy to chat with her. I gave a brief rundown of the nutshell of the gospel to Miss Huang. But she responded that she only believes in Science. Then I gave her another rundown of the Creation Account, showing how it harmonize with all the natural law created by God. before the bus came.
4. Then we caught up with Christian sister madam Li, æŽå§Šå¦¹ a member of the Logos Brisbane Church and BCCMA Choir members. Amy had a chat with her about her friend circle. I basically concern more about her assurance of Salvation.
5. I approached another Indian girl but she was not at all welcoming for the chat. But I still apply the friendship first tactic to keep the conversation alive till I finish the nutshell of the Gospel just in time before she met up with here friend.
6. Florence is a Singaporean Aussie with Chinese look but speaks only English. Initially she appear very skeptical to have conversation with a stranger, but my friendship first tactic sharing my life journey earned her interest and attention that led to eventual sharing of the gospel. However, I found out that she is already a Christian, but as usual, she does not have assurance of salvation which I managed to gave her a full clarification.
7. Finally I followed up on a Chinese from Guangzhou 廣州 that Gary handed him a Chinese tract. I accidentally pick up his accent as a Cantonese speaking person. So I quickly share him the nutshell of gospel before the bus came very fast.

It was encouraging to see Amy settling well with street outreach that she once felt hesitant to join. She now even introduced her friend to come along to have a taste of working with God through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray that it will bring a renewed understanding of God's Great Commission in a contemporary context of new mission land scape ""From Everywhere to Every where"that every lay Christian can have a go to reach out to people of all nations that God has already brought to our door step living with us in the same community. And we have an advantage of not needing to learn their language, but rather they have to integrate into the new host country by learning the local language there, which in Australia case, is English.
While doing God's works under the call of Great Commission, we do not just spread the gospel to the end of the world meaning reaching out to each and every least reached people groups, we ourself in the meantime will be polish and nurture to grow in spirituality toward maturity and ultimately perfection as promised by God per Eph 4:10 making us a masterpiece of God's own workmanship. In the process, we will be made the light and salt of the world that is the motto of Operation 513 referring to Matt 5:13-15. May more people be drawn to grow this Christian outreach army.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday March 16, 2022 from 1300 – 1500
Praise and thanks God Amy brought along Kally to join us today to get a taste of Street evangelism outreach which is by nature difficult if not impossible by us the unmerited people but by grace through faith, we could see the work of God through the Spirit to give us enough divine encounter appointment to chat and share about the gospel. Facing rejection is normal and a good practicum for us to identify with Jesus who also faced a lot of rejection at His time. It helps building steadfastness and perseverance in our renewed Christian walk. Today, God seems to have arrange a Malaysian day for me to have caught up with three Malaysian of three religion background, namely Muslim, Buddhism and Christian. Please read my Battle log as recap below: -
1. Monas, a Malaysian Muslim young man, who appeared very polite and quietly listened to my sharing of the Gospel. He said he has heard it before but have a big question mark why sin has to be punished but not simply being forgiven by the mercy of God. If so, God is not really merciful at all but must have someone be punished. It was a very good question that reflects the major difference between Christianity and all other religion. It was a pity I did not have time to explain as the bus came right at this moment. Only Christianity shows the two contrasting characters of God being the loving kindness aspect and the wrath of God against sin. To uphold his righteousness requirement, He cannot let sins unpunished. So God will hold every human being accountable for what we have done and the verdict is eternal punishment of dead or the wage of sin is death eternally. Yet the mercy of God reflects on his sacrificial love by sending His begotten son to die for us taking over the punishment of our sins on his shoulder to create the atoning effect. I pray that I can meet him again sometime in the not so long future.
2. Leo from mainl and大陸,immediately recognized me as we had a chat last week or not so long ago. I tried to refresh his memory on the message and test how well has he received this salvation package offered by God to him. It was a pity the bus came right at this moment.
3. An India Hindu lady by the name of Pratima was very polite and appeared very receptive to the full gospel message that she is willing to believe. I asked her to read the tract again at home and pray to God to guide her to make the last step of faith.
4. An Korean lady asked for directions to the city in exchange for the direction to heaven. She had already rendered a listening ear to me but the bus came at this critical moment to take her away.
5. Kevin the 2nd Malaysian of today who is from KL. Despite he and his family are of Buddhism background all their life, but he is able to keep a very open-minded attitude to appreciate the biblical truth.
6. Joy is the 3rd Malaysian I met today and she declared herself Christian but totally lack of Assurance of Salvation. I took the chance to explain to her the three-fold salvation package in the past, the presence and in the future and the full gospel of justification, Sanctification and glorification in the end.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday March 9th, 2022 from 1300 to 1500
Hurrah, God moved and called a new blood to join me and Johnny, the Street outreach squad at Sunnybank. She is our new Pastor Amy Lin Yao. I did not push her to join me right away, even she has done the Kairos Course. She initially was not so sure if she can deliver her duty as the Pastor of CFC by joining me right away on the street. Because she must have observed that my Street gospel ministry have not brought too many additional members to the church. Yet, God finally enlightened and moved her to join me today at Sunnybank. It is after all one of the measures to outreach to people that God may lead us to meet with each other.
The weather is still warm but much better than yesterday which was scorching hot with hot wind. I briefed Amy in the beginning that at the bus stop situations, our gospel conversation will bound to be short and frequently interrupted by arriving bus. So, we must adjust ourself to share the core of the gospel in shortest time frame, and leave the result to God. But our God of humour gave Amy a special divine encounter with a senior man of atheist background. He was there actually waiting to meet with his wife to take bus home, but arrived a bit too early as such they chatted for almost an hour, which is very rare in this bus stop situations. God made use of Amy’s likeability gift to let the senior man felt at ease to share his heart out with Amy which in turn let Amy gained the opportunities later to share him the Gospel. The affinity or approachability character of Amy really give her an edge to approach even some difficult persons. In short, I could see God really handholding Amy to get adapted into this challenging Street Outreach ministry with a very good beginning. I pray that she will hold on steadfastly when God let hers encounter more reject and despise from some stone heart persons that will not intimated our drive but encouraged us to grow in faith by hop and bound.
On the other hand both Johnny and I had our fair shares to preach the gospel to many people of different nations. Recap below is my Battle Log: -
1. First, I approached an old Cantonese Couples è€å»£æ± from Hong Kong. They were not keen at religion but I rightly tell them it is a life and death issues more significant than any form of religion that everybody should take heed of it especially people like them and me whose days are numbered on this earth. I was able to carry on to share just the nutshell of the Gospel before the bus came.
2. å°åº¦Ire a mature young Indian lady who appeared very friendly to chat about religions. After I rushed through the core of Gospel, she was impressed and promised to think deeply at home by reading the tract.
3. Then I caught up with Marty who claimed that I had spoken with him before at Toowong. He claimed he is a Christian but I nevertheless still went thru the nutshell of the gospel and test for his assurance of salvation which as expected , he failed. Thanked God I still have just enough time to clarify with him why eh should have 100% of assurance of salvation.
4. Tim is Australian born but his parents are from Gambia , West Africa. He appeared very confused with his own faith status claiming he flip flop between Catholic and Christianity. So unsurprisingly, he failed the test of 100% assurance of salvation. Again, just in time for a clarification before the bus came.
5. Ashin is a young Indian girl professing Hinduism. But again, like Ire, she appeared very opened mind to listening to sharing of the gospel. And she also admitted that the doctrine of save by grace through faith in Christ is sound and logical to accept.
6. Then I caught up with a Hongkonger couples who has just returned back from HKG to Australia in the capacity of an Aussie Citizen. They avoided attributing the return to the Hong Kong deteriorating social and economical status. Then the bus came and I could only left with the husband a tract. Pray that we may meet again here.
7. Two Christian Aussie girls let me shared with them the whole gospel as if they had not heard it before but then declared both are Christians after I finished. When I tested for their assurance of salvation, they utterly had no idea how to answer. So very apparently, they are the typical nominal Christians who have no assurance of salvation. I use all my force to clarify why but it seemed to have offended them by exposing their weakness or ignorance. Both left on the excuse they found out they are on a wrong bus stop that God did nothing wrong to bring them here for a chat with me.
8. Liu from China is a very rational mind young man from Mainland China but he also found the gospel sensible and logical despite of his atheist back ground. He promised to ponder taking a both rational decision but by faith to accept Jesus as his Saviour and Lord of his life.
9. Lastly, I caught up with another two girls from China coming here for study. They were polite to let me share though not with a real genuine interest. But God’s election was apparent to let them stop and listen until the bus came.
10. I almost missed out another Senior Hongkonger who initially pretending he did not under English or Chinese (Mandarin). But later on I found he is a Cantonese speaking person. He is totally non-interested in anything religious at all. But I just showed him the action love by helping him to find our the right bus stop for him to go to Garden City which is around the far corner on Zemina Street off Time Square. He found to too troublesome to go there so he changed his mind to go home directly. I anyway still earn his trust and was able to share the nutshell of the gospel to him.

Battle Log of Operation 513 for Sunnybank on Wednesday 23/2/2022 from 1300 to 1500
After 7 weeks of rest because of both the Omicron outbreak and my medical treatment issues, we returned to the Sunnybank Street outreach field today with the three regular team mates, Johnny, Gary and Hung all turning up. The human flow was tended to be much less than normal. But all of us still got ample of chances to share the gospel to people of all nations. Gary as usual bought along his big signs to attract attention of both the pedestrians and the car drivers. We had a fruitful resumption of ministry and finished it in time just before the projected afternoon rain fall. Recap below is the Battle Log of Hung: -
1. A Chinese Mum caring a young daughter, but still willing to listen to the Gospel I shared and took tract home. At least the nutshell of the gospel has been covered when the bus arrived. ä¸åœ‹æ¯è¦ªå’Œå¥³å…’å…‰è´
2. Catherine a Catholic background Filipino Christian, yet has basic and correct understanding of the gospel with hundred percent of assurance of salvation. She appeared humble to listen though at time might seemed a bit impatience.
3. A Chinese young lady from North-Eastern Chinaæ±åŒ—姑娘,She was very polite有礼貌 showing courtesy to listen to the gospel and admitted it is sensible and logical that she may ponder to pursue.
4. Ash, an Algeria Muslim parent but of atheist background. He became Christian in Australia and is now attending a Baptist church in the park with the boy scout hall. Yet he only has 50% of assurance of salvation, so I had to rush to give him a clarification which was just in time before his bus arrived.
5. Then I followed up on a Chinese senior person that Gary had contacted. It was Mr Li who claimed to have a chat with me here before. Then I recalled he was invited by a friend to attend a local church which happens to be Ruth Liao 廖牧師church with the Wesleyan Denomination.æŽå…ˆç”Ÿï¼ŒHe is from Shen Zhen 深圳so he understands a bit Cantonese but could not speak. Unfortunately, he only have 50%of assurance of salvation that need my clarification.解釋. He thought he is readily a true Christian as such kept asking me to share with others. Of course, I stayed put to get him know that his lack of 100% assurance of salvation is a loophole that Satan will attack him that it must be addressed and clarified.
6. Paul, a Filipino initially reject ed my approach but while I chose a friendship approach, he then changed to become a good listener of the full gospel.
7. Christie and his girlfriend seems like a couple. They react friendlily to my approach with high chance that they are Christians. But time left was too short to elaborate on the gospel as the bus came almost instantly.
8. Jerry from China has some Christian friends but has never heard the gospel formally. He was very attentive and serious this time to take in the gospel message and promised to ponder at home for a faith action.
9. A tall guy who is an Australian born Vietnamese showed good interest to the gospel. I could only manage to share him the nutshell as the bus also came too quick.
10. Finally, I caught up with two girl named黃 & æŽ who are from the southern part of China. å—方大陸人.The showed reluctance to listen to my sharing of full gospel.勉強è½å®Œæ•´ç¦éŸ³ Pray for God’s follow up work.

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday January 5th, 2022 from 1300 - 1500
Today I teamed up with Gary who volunteered to resume our regular Street Ministry at Sunnybank. Actually, he started readily yesterday to put up signs to attract people’s attention around his home as there were congestion everywhere because of long queue for Covid-19 testing amidst the outbreak of Omicron in Qld.
Today, there was apparent less human flow at the Sunny Plaza side bus stop that used to be full of people. But it was good enough for me and Gary to handle one after the others with intermittent rejection cases. Recap below is Battle Log of Hung. And thanks be to Gary taking many photo for me while I was sharing the gospel.
1. First, I approached a Thai lady who claimed to have received our tract, but when I asked if she had read it at home then she said she did not as she is a pious Buddhist thus not felt right to read tract of other religion. I quickly endorsed that Buddhism and many other religions are good but only good at teaching people to be a good man. None of them address the issue of sin like Christianity. Sin must be punished and Jesus is the only hope for sinners including all the Good Persons, to have taken over the punishment of our sin as such we are deemed clean and right for reconnecting with God to let Him start the life. transformation work in us through the work of the Holy Spirit. Her bus arrived and she had to go but showed great appreciation for my clarification and explanation of the issue of salvation.
2. Then I approached a Muslim lady with a cross breed son who was a bit sceptical in the beginning but turned friendly to hear the gospel. Yet I did not have enough time to share but just left her with the conclusion that no one can go to heaven unless you are perfect.
3. Oliver is an ABC with parents from China. He listened patiently for my gospel but disclose he is readily a Christian. When I tested for his assurance of salvation and it was astonishingly 100% despite, he does not attend church. So, the good biblical teaching must be from his parents yet they also have stop attending church. So, it was a mystery about the real spiritual status of this Christian family.
4. Another Chinese look young man initially rejected both Gary and me. But, after a short while I tried to have casual chat with him for ice breaking, then our flood gate of conversation was opened to allow me to share my testimony first then the gospel how I was saved by grace through faith in Jesus. He actually is a Vietnamese having lived in Australia for 8 years and is now an Aussie citizen. His attitude changed from indifferent to deeply drawn to the life changing God. This obviously was the work of God.
5. Then I caught up with possibly another Vietnamese lady but the bud just arrived when I was about the start out gospel conversation. She anyway happily took a tract and promised to read at home. I pray that she will not put it aside with the same thought that she is a Buddhism girl as such Christianity is not right for her.
6. Cooper an elderly Samoan lady who quickly declared she is a Christian. I then checked her assurance of salvation which was not quite correct claiming she will go to heaven by complying with the ten commandment. So her faith was built on work rather than grace through faith in Christ. After clarification, she was glad to find out and understand that her basis of salvation is completely dependent on Jesus.
7. Liz a young UQ student from Ching Xin, China釿…¶ who was rejective initially，最åˆæ‹’絕,but later after ice breaking chat that I identified with her home town that I once went there for earthquake relief in 2018, she turned very friendly right away and let me share my life testimony as well as the gospel which finally she admits she need to explore and ponder on the implication to her life.
8. Li æŽï¼Œanother young UQ student from Shanghai China.上海姑娘. Again, I identified with her birth place that I once was the pioneer visitor from Hong Kong almost 50 years ago. She was drawn into my life with the presence and guidance of God. So She left as another happy girl readily with the seed of Gospel sowed in her heart.
9. Then I turned around to speak with another girl from main land China. I was not aware of her boyfriend initially while I had very good and interactive conversation with her. Thanks God that only after I finished sharing that her boyfriend reacted irrationally, grasped the tract I gave to the girl from her hand and rudely thrown them into the garbage bin 。The girl was embarrassed for what her boy friend had done but remain polite to le t me wrap up our conversation with a blessing for her the humble and willing listener.
10. Finally, a Chines man who had just taken an English tract from Gary but was OK to chat with me about the tract. Yet the bus came to cut off this conversation, so just pray the tract will do the job

Operation 513 Battle Log for Sunnybank on Wednesday Dec 15, 2021 from 1300 to 1500
The Weather turned cooler today and we had Gary, Johnny and Hung teaming up for the regular street outreach. Andrew also came to day to hand out tract and we had good fellowship in Christ to support each other’s ministry. My gospel targets were predominantly Chinese/ Asia with only one African girl and a local Aussie, otherwise the rest were mainly Chinese with one Thai girl and two Vietnamese. I continue to use the Christmas theme of Jesu birth to become a perfect man to die for us in order to bring us real eternal inner peace with God and in Christ. This can best be represented by the oldest English carol – God rest ye merry, Gentleman or ladies. The word “merry” is an old English word meaning not just as happy but a kind of power from Christ that can bring us peace and real joy living a free life without any more fear.
Meantime, God also led Hung to have special encounter with a Kairos graduate with her boyfriend Richard Liu before the outreach and then meeting with Allan Li after the outreach . May God’s plan and Will be done.
Recap below was the Battle Log of Hung.
1. A Mask woman agreed with my sharing about the need to be free of fear.
2. A modern lady was too proud to even listen
3. A Vietnamese woman claimed to have difficult to communicate in either Chinese or English, but ended up still taking all the Tracts I offered and seemed to understand the core of the gospel message I shared in English.
4. Sia from Sierra Leone is a Christian with clear understanding of the gospel message and full assurance of salvation despite she is attending a Catholic Church. She chatted with Johnny previously, so she only greeted Johnny without any conversation. But I was moved to have a long chat with her to check on her status of faith which to my delight is good and accurate.
5. I had a brief chat with Vietnamese man as his bus came quite quick
6. Another Chinese lady with mask felt ok to have a long chat with me and seemingly receptive to the gospel and in same consensus that living without free is the reason we have peace, joy and hope which is represented by the word Merry in the olden form of English.
7. A Thai girl Fiona looks like a local Aussie who listened to my gospel message very attentively and appeared very receptive. So I was a bit surprised to find out she is a Thai girl form a Buddhism country.
8. Wayne is a very lowly living guys with a shirt having torn and broken by great area but fixed with many safety pins. His situation seemed even worse than many homeless people and he obvious is with mental health issues that normal people will avoid contacting him. I met him two weeks ago and he recognised me and remembered me assuring he is a good person but still needs God to make him clean and sinless. I took a full body photo to let you see he is a happy guy with Christ despite wearing the worse broken dress.
9. Chen a young man who was a very humble listener and took in the gospel message very well
10. Wayne the last young man I met was also very attentive and receptive to the gospel.
